Taiwan-based Danen Technology plans wafer capacity expansion to 210MWp

[15/07/2010] Danen Technology, the solar-grade ingot and wafer manufacturer based in Taiwan, has revealed its plans to expand its production capacity from 120MWp to 210MWp by the end of this year. Amtechs order backlog tops US$80 million: reports record revenue

[14/07/2010] Amtech Systems said that for its fiscal third quarter sales in the solar sector reached US$37 million and US$42 million in total, a new quarterly revenue record. As of the first nine months of the year, Amtech said it had recorded over US$135 million in total orders, exceeding all previous full fiscal year bookings. Lumeta receives UL 1703 certification for PowerPly BIPV modules

[14/07/2010] Lumeta has received CSA International (CSA) certification for its PowerPly roof-integrated photovoltaic solar module in accordance with UL 1703. The 400W product combines a DuPont Tefzel frontsheet and lightweight composite substrate with high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon solar cells to increase power density, eliminating the glass and aluminum frame structure of conventional modules. [14/07/2010] Conergy Greece has completed nine solar parks on the island of Crete. The plants are spread out across the island, located in the Prefectures of Chania and Lasithi. The company has installed more than 2,500 Conergy PowerPlus modules on Conergy SolarGigant and Conergy SolarLinea mounting systems, together with a total of 90 Conergy IPG 5 S inverters.
