solarpeq premiers in Düsseldorf: PV manufacturers sign-up now!
solarpeq, the international trade fair for solar production equipment will premier in Düsseldorf from 28 September to 01 October 2010. Photovoltaics International, a renowned specialist journal for photovoltaics, will take the role of content provider for the accompanying solarpeq conference running from 27 to 28 September. The event will take place at the Conference Center Düsseldorf (CCD) East, which is ideally positioned for direct access to the fairground.
The solarpeq conference, organized in collaboration with the glasstec conferences in Dusseldorf, is the place to go to meet the full supply chain of the photovoltaic industry.
At this conference, Messe Düsseldorf and Photovoltaics International will focus on the challenges of PV manufacturing in the short to long term. By having speakers both from the supplier side and from the customer side, visions and opinions can be compared and challenged through this event.
Eddy Blokken, former director of technology and standards at the PV Group of the international association SEMI, has been appointed as conference chairman. Mr Blokken will be responsible for the content planning of the conference and will be inviting relevant speakers to Düsseldorf to share their experiences and best practice in the solar manufacturing supply chain.
“The conference complements the range at solarpeq turning it into an extremely attractive, overall B2B package for international experts in the field of solar production engineering,” explains Hans Werner Reinhard, executive director at Messe Düsseldorf. David Owen, managing director at Photovoltaics International, commented: “We are delighted to support the conference programme at solarpeq with our in-depth knowledge and contacts throughout the PV manufacturing supply chain. The solarpeq exhibition with its clear focus on solar production technology suits us perfectly.”
