solarpeq on Course for Success – Hall Space Almost Booked out
Many renowned suppliers will be presenting their goods at the new trade fair for solar production technology this autumn.
Applied Materials, Centrotherm and Reis Robotics – the list of companies that want to exhibit at the first solarpeq between 28 September and 01 October is already long. This is no wonder: Messe Düsseldorf is considered to be the top address for mechanical and plant engineering and, as experience shows, it has a wide international public - the best conditions for exhibitors who want to launch on the global market.

Photovoltaics (PV) are on a new roll: The demand for solar installations is growing rapidly; the manufacturers are producing at full capacity and ordering considerably more production equipment for their factories. A few months before solarpeq, the trade fair for solar production technology, mechanical and plant engineers are showing that they are optimistic and in the mood to present their products. More than 120 companies have already promised their presence at the first event between 28 September and 01 October 2010. This includes successful international giants such as Applied Materials, Bosch Rexroth and Von Ardenne. “Space is now becoming scarce. For this reason, we are naturally very satisfied with the response so far and are also convinced there will be further registrations,” says Account Manager Heiko M. Stutzinger.
solarpeq is classed as the new top event of the solar industry. It is taking place at the same time as the global glasstec trade fair and offers an international forum for everyone wanting to sell or buy machinery to manufacture or process silicone, wafers, solar cells and solar modules. “Suppliers will not find a better platform to present themselves globally,” says Stutzinger. Messe Düsseldorf has an outstanding infrastructure in terms of investment goods, especially in mechanical and plant engineering. This means solarpeq exhibitors will have the opportunity to show their technology in operation at their stand – this “live advantage” has only been offered by a few trade fairs up to now. solarpeq will be flanked by the “Size Matters! – Producing Solar at Large Scale” symposium, which Messe Düsseldorf is organising with the renowned trade publication PV International as the content partner. International experts from all value-added steps will discuss their experiences and “best practices” here.
