arcon Beschichtungstechnik

arcon Beschichtungstechnik was founded by insulation glass pioneers Alfred Arnold (Glaswerke Arnold) and Wilhelm Conzelmann (Glas Conzelmann) in 1980. The innovative courage of these two corporate entrepreneurs and their mid-sized companies saw vacuum float-glass gold coating, with further processing resulting in insulation glass, begin as early as 1981. Then in 1985 arcon started production of tempered safety glass - and the arcon success story was born ….

Today, 150 employees work at arcon's three glassworks sites: arcon, arcon II and arcon dur, situated in Feuchtwangen and Bucha. Annual sales currently amount to 30 million Euro.
